1993 saw the release of the bands fourth album ‘Death & Progress` this album featured guest appearances by both Tony Iommi and Dave Mustaine .The album went on to sell 50.000 copies and Diamond Head played their biggest gig to date in front of 60.000 people at the massive Milton Keynes Bowl with Metallica and Megadeth, This show was broadcast live on MTV and Radio 1 and was recorded for release as ‘Evil live’ in 1994.
2004 heralded a landmark year in Diamond Head history with a new vocalist in place, recording a new album ‘All Will Be Revealed’ a contemporary rock album which embraces both today’s writing and production techniques and yet still retains strong elements of the bands hard rock roots.
February 2005 Diamond Head open for Megadeth on a 22 date sold out European tour.
Cargo records released ‘All Will Be Revealed’ in October 2005 to great critical acclaim.
2006 Diamond Head played concerts across Europe including Sweden, Italy, Greece and the U.K and begin work on ‘What’s in your head?’ to be released in July 2007, a very busy year for the band culminating in a 14 date UK tour with Thin Lizzy.
2008 Diamond Head’s first time in Japan.
2009 Am I Evil? is featured on the new Metallica Guitar Hero Game.
Kerrang! writer Dom Lawson describes Diamond Head as “One of the greatest British heavy metal bands of all time…criminally underrated with a staggering catalogue of shit-kicking anthems.”
