As the genre grew and evolved, Testament maintained their relevance touring worldwide and releasing award winning, critically acclaimed albums, from their 1987 debut The Legacy to their latest release, 2008’s pummeling The Formation of Damnation, the band never compromised their vision or their musicianship.
Eric has also recently formed a side-project called Dragonlord, which leans more toward black-metal and showcases Eric on lead vocals as well as guitar. In Testament, Eric was originally a rhythm guitarist while Alex Skolnick handled all the lead-work but since Skolnick’s recent return to Testament, their latest album The Formation Of Damnation finds both Eric and Alex sharing lead and rhythm guitar duties. Eric also recently created his own signature Dean Flying V guitar.
Now, with their classic lineup once again intact, Eric Peterson and Testament look forward to spreading their aural aggression across the globe. The Bay Area thrash-metal stalwarts are back… So prepare yourself for the assault!
